ISSUE:
======

–>You have a SharePoint site called  http://yash.sharepoint.com/wtsi  on you current SharePoint server farm

–>You have a Content Editor Webpart on this site and you try to modify the shared web part

–>When you modify it by clicking “Rich Text Editor” you get following error message “Cannot retrieve properties at this time. {OK}”

–>When you click {OK}, you get “HTML Editor” open and then you type some text and try to save changes, you get following error message “Cannot save your changes. {OK}”

–>Due to the errors the changes made does not appear inside the content editor webpart

Resolution.
===========

• I found that the issue is related to “Deltek GovWin 6.1 (Build 6.1.200) Document Management”

• Take the backup of web.config file from ISAPI folder

• Remove the entry in the web.config file of ISAPI folder.

• (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\ISAPI\ )

<soapExtensionTypes>
<add type=”Microsoft.Web.Services2.WebServicesExtension,Microsoft.Web.Services2,Version=2.0.0.0,Culture=neutral,PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35″ priority=”1″ group=”0″ />
</soapExtensionTypes>

• Did an IISRESET .

• Now you should able to edit and save the content Editor web part
